Dave’s experiences entitle work in the areas of orthopedic clinical rehabilitation, and professional sports. He has had the opportunity to work with the Detroit Vipers Hockey club of the IHL, Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers of the NHL, he has also worked with the Detroit Pistons of the NBA. With these organization. Dave’s held various roles as an Athletic Trainer or Strength and Conditioning Coach, Sometimes both. As a 1990 Graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Dave holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Sports Medicine, with emphasis on Athletic training. In addition, he is also certified by the NSCA as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Meanwhile he holds an additional certification using Garston, an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization technique (IASTM).
Dave is a Sports Performance Athletic Trainer. Dave also works with a variety of youth programs for improving their overall strength and conditioning and has with the youth National Soccer Club as their Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. He has a wealth of hands on experiences in treating Sports related injuries and understanding the mechanics of movement in one’s sport to decreased potential of injuries. He recently received additional certification in human movement and human performance specialist.
